Menopause teaching and training

As well as providing specialist Menopause and Women’s Health appointments at the clinic, Dr Barber also works in the NHS as a GP specialist in gynaecology and menopause and lectures across the public and private sector. She is a member of the British Menopause Society Medical Advisory Council and joins a team of national experts to educate, inform and guide healthcare professionals in all aspects of post-reproductive health. Dr Barber is a British Menopause Society Trainer and is currently training three GP’s completing their menopause specialist training. Their training comprises progressive theory and practical training components that lead to a qualification in menopause care.
